Looking for something else fun to do while at the conference in Chicago?  Check out some of the attractions you might want to explore while you are here: 

Chicago White Sox Game - $25

Are you a sports fan?  Consider attending a game at Guaranteed Rate Field to see the Chicago White Sox play the Kansas City Royals on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th.  The Game will start at 1:10pm.  Participants can travel to the field via the CTA Red Line (must have a Ventra card).

Seats for the game are TBD. Tickets for the game will be available when you register for the conference.

Chicago Architecture Foundation Center River Cruise - $33

The Chicago Architecture Foundation Center River Cruise is a must for out-of-towners and Chicagoans alike. CAC docents interpret more than 50 buildings along the Chicago River. You will find out how Chicago grew from a small settlement into one the the world's largest cities in less than 100 years. In 90 minutes, get the real story on Chicago's architecture and history.

Participants may walk to the Cruise dock, 1.1 miles from the Hilton Chicago or take your own transportation to the dock via taxi, Uber, CTA bus, etc.

Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio Tour - $33

Frank Lloyd Wright used his first home to experiment with design concepts that contain the seeds of his architectural philosophy. In his adjacent studio, Wright and his associates developed a new American architecture - the Prairie style. Trained interpreters offer insight into Wright's family life and architectural career.


Oak Park is home to the world’s largest collection of Wright-designed buildings. Explore the Historic District surrounding the Home and Studio at your own pace on a self-guided audio tour. Tours feature the exteriors of a rich selection of architecturally significant buildings supplemented by archival photographs.


Participants may travel with groups to Oak Park via the CTA Green Line Train (must have Ventra card). The walk from the Green Line Station to the Wright Studio is 0.8 miles with additional walking on tour. Or participants may take their own transportation to Oak Park.
